There are use cases for dedicated hardware as well as shared hardware running virtual machines. Today's hardware is typically powerful enough that the CPU's load sits at ten percent or less.

This section is relatively new and there are just a few types of VMs with which I am familiar enough to write-up a simple how-to, so you will just find basic introductory material here; nothing in-depth.
